Overview

Nova is Amazon's in-house counter-bet after its Anthropic stake: Micro/Lite/Pro text plus Canvas/Reel media models in late 2024, evolving to Nova 2 and the browser-agent Nova Act in 2026. Rather than fighting ChatGPT on consumer turf, it wins on cost, compliance and data proximity for AWS's enterprise base.

Direction
